About the founder
Gloria Lafont
I got started in the marketing business in a small direct mail services firm in 1985, that handled the data processing for clients who sold through mail order. Simplified, the service consisted of doing mail outs with the irresistible offer to people who matched an “ideal client” profile, receiving back the orders via mail and entering the information to produce the product shipping labels. The service also included creating reports for the response analysis, were various criteria were measured, to determine which combination of elements got higher sales. Although nowadays there is a whole new world of marketing tools, the cause-and-effect measurability principal remains most important. That’s my approach to marketing and the foundation I’ve built my marketing practice upon over the years. I believe the key to success is surrounding myself with talented people who share my vision of being the best at what they do, enjoying themselves while they are at it.
